Community Wellness Programs
We partner with the parks, schools, gyms to promote the importance of physical activity and living healthy after a cancer diagnosis.
Walk For Wellness- We will have wellness walks in parks. Our walk for wellness walks will help promote healthy lifestyle while also fundraising for childhood cancer survivors and childhood cancer research.
The Walk for Wellness will be an annual springtime event in Memphis.
Funds raised will go to support the Isabelle Grace Morin Foundation and Cancer Survivor Project programs and support services.
The Isabelle Morin Foundation Resource Guide is a guide for childhood cancer survivors as they go from early childhood through college..
Isabelle Morin Foundation Connect:
We want to connect cancer survivors with local resources from education, psychologists to health coaches and nutritionist.
Online Resource: We hope to create Cancer Survivor Project as an online resource for Cancer Survivors. CancerSurvivorProject.org (Future Global Project)
Mentorship:
Our goal is to help provide mentors for cancer survivors.
Tutoring Financial Assistance:
Cancer survivors can get side effects from their treatments which can hinder their academics and sometimes need tutoring through early childhood to high school. We hope to provide financial assistance for tutoring.
Wellness Center For Survivors – In the future we hope to have wellness center for cancer survivors.
Mental Health– Managing mental health during cancer treatment and cancer survivor years is important to get support if you are struggling with anxiety and stress. There are many ways to get support to help reduce stress and anxiety.
